The drive-in rack system is a total of 1608 pallet positions, providing storage for: incoming salvaged food waiting to be inspected and sorted, inspected and sorted food ready to be picked, surplus food donated by manufacturers and local distributors ready for distribution, cooler storage of donated food requiring refrigeration, long-term storage in freezer of excess supplies and donated frozen foods. The layout provides space to grow for many years for the Food Bank's increasing services.
