Bell Power Systems needed four work areas serviced by 2-ton capacity hoists in each area. Preferred Equipment determined that a Spanco floor supported stand-alone work station bridge crane would be a low cost alternative to conventional I-beam construction. The modular construction allows for expansion of the system in the future and offers both manual and motorized trolley options. The bridge crane systems are 23' long with an 18' bridge supporting a 4,000 capacity Harrington electric hoist. The hoist height is 15' above the floor giving ample room to handle the larger power assemblies. Design, delivery and installation were all coordinated by Preferred.
